Alwar

Bala Qila
The fort stretches on for 5 km from north to south and 1.6 km from east to west. Besides, it is perched on a height of 595 m above sea level and offers magnificent views of the town below. The Bala Qila also houses many interesting palatial structures apart from other monuments. The fort also has several gates that include the Jai Pol, Laxman Pol, Chand Pol, Kishan Pol and the Suraj Pol.
Government Museum
Showcasing a fine collection of Mughal and Rajput paintings that date back to the 18th and 19th centuries, the museum is a must visit attraction in Alwar. Besides, there are many rare manuscripts you can have a look at during a visit to the museum.
City Palace
Blending the best of Rajput and Mughal styles of architecture, the palatial structure was built in 1793 AD by Raja Bakhtawar Singh.
Purajan Vihar
This picturesque garden was laid out in 1868 AD during the reign of Maharaja Shiv Dan Singh. Today, the garden is visited by hundreds of tourists, especially during summers.
Tomb of Fateh Jung
This spectacular tomb with its majestic dome is a rich blend of the Hindu and Islamic styles of architecture.
