Folklore Museum, Jaisalmer
Established in 1984, Folklore Museum in Jaisalmer will allow you to explore the rich folk arts and history of the region yourself. This Rajasthan museum is located in the picturesque Mehar Bagh Garden near the Gadsisar Lake. Jaisalmer Folklore Museum houses collections of jewelries, paintings, photographs, costumes, camel and horse ornaments and many other traditional articles that will tell you about the rural life of the state. You can visit this Rajasthan museum on any day of the week from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. and 3 p.m.-6 p.m.
