Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing
Delhi is the historical city that has many impressive historical monuments dating back to the Mogul period. On the second day you are taken on an exciting sightseeing trip of Delhi, the capital of India. You will visit the historic sites like the Red Fort or ‘Lal Qila’ which is made of red sandstone, Jama Masjid which is the largest mosque in India built by the emperor Shah Jahan, Qutub Minar which is a tower of victory built after the defeat of the last Hindu Kingdom in Delhi, Humayun’s Tomb built in 1565 AD by Haji Begum the Persian born wife of Humayun, Chandni Chowk Bazaars have been there for shopping since the Mogul era, Rashtrapati Bhawan where the President of India resides is replete with beautiful Mogul gardens and hundreds of rooms. India Gate is a 42 meters high arch , it foundation stone was laid by the Duke of Connaught in 1921 . This majestic monument was built in the honor of Indian Soldiers who died in World War 1 and the Afghan Wars of the twentieth century .You will return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 03: Delhi – Sariska
Sariska in Rajasthan is famous for its tiger population. The third day of the Classical Journey of India Tour takes you on an early morning drive to Sariska in Rajasthan. The Sariska National park is 200 kms from Delhi and 107 kms from Jaipur. You will check in at the hotel upon arrival. Later you will enjoy a thrilling wildlife tour of the Sariska Tiger Reserve and see the varied wildlife. Overnight stay is arranged at the hotel.

Day 04: Sariska – Jaipur
In the morning, you will for game watching in the Sariska Tiger Reserve. Later in the afternoon, you drive down to Jaipur – the capital of Rajasthan. You are assisted by the tour representative to check in at the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 05: Jaipur
Jaipur is the pink city of Rajasthan and enjoys a singular reputation among tourists. You will have a delightful tour of the Amer Fort in the morning. The Amer Fort is at a distance of 11 kms from Jaipur, where the tourists can take a ride up the hill on the back of an elephant. Here you will also enjoy the royal pleasure of an elephant ride and enjoy the Panoramic views of Jaipur, the Pink City. In the afternoon, sightseeing trip of Jaipur is arranged and you will visit the City Palace, the most sought after attraction in the city and Jantar Mantar which is a museum that holds the ancient astronomical instruments. You return to the hotel for relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 06: Jaipur – Agra
On the sixth day of the Classical Journey of India, you will travel to Agra located in the state Uttar Pradesh, in the morning. Enroute, you will visit the deserted Mughal town of Fatehpur Sikri which was founded by Akbar the great between 1569 and 1585 and is famous for its historical relics. On arrival in Agra, the tour representative will arrange for your check in at the hotel for the overnight stay.

Day 07: Agra
The city of Agra has been immortalized by the many Mogul rulers by their architecture and gardens. In the morning, you will visit the world famous romantic monument of Taj Mahal. Taj Mahal is one of the New Seven Wonders of the World and was built by Shah Jahan in memory of his loving wife Mumtaz Mahal. Historians also say that the Taj Mahal is the recreation of heaven as depicted in the Koran. You will also visit the magnificent Agra Fort also known as the Lal Qila or the Red Fort and spend the remaining day at leisure. Overnight stay is at the hotel.

Day 08: Agra – Khajuraho
You are escorted to the Agra airport to board a flight for Khajuraho in Madhya Pradesh. The place features in the UNESCO world heritage sites. In the afternoon, you will go on a sightseeing tour of the world renowned Khajuraho temples. These temples have exquisite and marvelous stone sculptures celebrating the spirit of life and epitome of feminity. Love finds an enthralling expression in the sculptures of Khajuraho. Overnight stay is at the hotel in Khajuraho.

Day 09: Khajuraho – Varanasi
On day 9 of the Classical Journey of India Tour, you will fly to Varanasi which is better known as Kashi, the cultural and spiritual capital of India and check in the hotel for overnight stay. You can spend the day in relaxing.

Day 10: Varanasi
Varanasi is the center of Hinduism and is dotted with many sites that are sacred and spiritual. You are taken on early morning boat cruise on the sacred River Ganges and you will be delighted by the sheer peace and tranquility. Varanasi is a pilgrimage destination of the Hindus. You will return to the hotel for breakfast and then set out on a visit to Benaras Hindu University which was established in 1916 by the efforts of Nationalist Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya and is one of the biggest universities in India. Bharat Mata Temple was inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi in 1936 and was gifted by the nationalist Shri Durga Prasad Khatri and Babu Shiv Prasad Gupta. Sarnath is one of the top major Buddhist center. Overnight stay is at the hotel in Varanasi.

Day 11: Varanasi - Kathmandu
On the 11th day of the Classical Journey of India Tour, you will take a flight to Kathmandu in Nepal which lies on the east of India. One checks in at the hotel on arrival. The rest of the day is spent at leisure and overnight stay is at the hotel.

Day 12: Kathmandu
The city of Kathamandu is also yet another important city not only for its natural attractions but also Hindu temples. You will enjoy a morning city tour by visiting tourist attractions in and around Kathmandu. You go for an evening excursion to Patan which is a 15 minute drive from Kathmandu and Patan’s central Durbar Square is packed with temples which you can visit and return to the hotel in Kathmandu for an overnight stay.

Day 13: Kathmandu
You will enjoy early morning sightseeing trips of Pashupatinath which has a sprawling collection of Hindu temples, ashrams and images along the banks of the Bagmati River and Bouddhanath which is the biggest stupa in the Khatmandu valley. The rest of the day is free for leisure and relaxation, overnight stay is in the hotel.

Day 14: Kathmandu – Delhi
You will board a flight to Delhi and check into the hotel on arrival. You are free to spend the day as you wish.

Day 15: Departure Delhi
On the final day of the Classical Journey of India Tour, you are driven to the international airport for boarding homebound flight.
