Wildlife in East


A Northeast India tour can also be called Wildlife tour in east, which covers some major destinations like Namerii, Kaziranga, Dibrugarh, and Namdapha. The entire tour duration is ten Days and nine Nights.

Day 01:Nameri: Arrival, Welcome Ceremony
On the day one, tourists will be received at Guwahati (a major city in eastern India). Here tourists will enjoy a brief welcome ceremony. After completing lunch, tourists can visit the Nameri National Park, which is around 208 kilometers away from Guwahati city. This national park is the home to four rare wild cats that are the major attractions of this park. Tourists can spend a night in the tented accommodation of the park.

Day 02: Nameri: Elephant Ride, Angling, and Nature
On the next morning, tourists can go for an elephant ride inside the National Park, which will be exciting and fun filled. The riverside place is ideal for a picnic lunch and tourist can enjoy a lunch after returning from the national park. Apart from these activities, tourists can also enjoy angling in the river Jia Bhoroli and rafting down the river. After all these activities, tourists have to return to camp for a night stay.

Day 03: Nameri: Orchidarrium, Rafting, Angling
Day 3 begins with a drive to Bhalukpung, which is known as the entry point to the Western Arunachal Pradesh. After completing all the entry formalities procedures, tourists can visit to the famous Tipi Orchid Research centre. This Orchid Research centre glasshouse is famous for a home to around 7500 different species of Orchids. After returning from the research centre, tourists can enjoy rafting and angling activities. An overnight stay at the camp in Bhalukpung ends the day.

Day 04: Kaziranga: Brahmaputra river, Kaziranga national park
Day 4 starts with an early morning drive to Tezpur, which is around 38 kilometers away from the Bhalukpung. Tourists can have their breakfast inside the Cole Park. After completing breakfast, they can leave for Kaziranga National Park, which is around 120 kilometers away from the Tezpur. While moving towards Kaziranga, tourists can stop at Agnigarh before crossing the magnificent Kaliabhomora Bridge. This bridge is spread over River Brahmaputra. For an overnight stay, tourists can check in at any of the tourist lodge of that area.

Day 05: Kaziranga: Elephant Safari, Rhino
In the morning, tourists can explore the central area of Kaziranga National park by enjoying an elephant safari to the park. An elephant ride activity includes chasing a unicorn rhino and a wide range of rare species of animals. After finishing the lunch, tourists can go for a jeep safari to the central area of the Kaziranga National Park. After returning from the jeep safari, they can spend rest of the day by some leisure activities. An overnight stay at tourist lodge ends the 5th day of the Wildlife tour in east.

Day 06: Kaziranga: Jeep Safari, Rhino, And Tea Estate
On the 6th day, tourists can visit a nearby Tea Estate. They can also witness a tribal village where they can see the lifestyle of local villagers. After having breakfast, they can go for a jeep safari in the eastern range of national park. Do not forget to take the lunch while going for a jeep safari. There they can spend all the day by exploring nature and natural beauty. An overnight stay at any of the tourist lodge ends the day.

Day 07: Dibrugarh: Tea Estates, Scenic drive
In the early morning, tourists will be moved to Dibrugarh, which is approximately 230 kilometers away from the Kaziranga National Park. It is a picturesque site and known as one of the most visited places of the eastern India. This place is famous for tea and all the serene landscapes. Tourists can enjoy a spring-scented evening with hot cuppa at any of the host bungalows. The 7th day of the tour ends with an overnight stay at a host bungalow in the tea estate of Dibrugarh.

Day 08: Namdapha: National park
On the 8th day, after having breakfast, tourists can visit a local tea factory to see the blending process of tea. After that, they have to leave for Namdapha, which is around 200 kilometers from the Dibrugarh. During the journey, tourists can have their lunch at Tinsukia. On arrival at Namdapha National Park in Arunachal Pradesh, tourists have to check room for accommodation. An overnight stay at Camp Namdapha completes the day.

Day 09: Namdapha: Wild life, Nature
At the beginning of the 9th day of the tour, tourists can start their day by an early morning elephant ride inside the Namdapha National Park. Afternoon enjoying angling and other adventurous activities, tourists can stay a night at the camp.

Day10: Departure: Farewell
This is the last day of the tour and in the early morning of 10th day, tourists have to leave for Dibrugarh Airport for departure.
