Day 02: Delhi
Today you go for a city tour and visit the Laxmi Narayan Temple- also called as Birla Mandir, Parliament House- the National Legislature of India . India Gate- a war memorial, Humayun’s Tomb- a tomb built by Humayun’s wife and having influences of Persian architecture, Jama Masjid one of the largest mosques in India, Red Fort made of red sandstone and Gandhi Memorial or Raj Ghat.

Day 03: Leh
In the morning, you head towards the airport to board a flight to Leh. On arrival you check in to your hotel. Leh is a high altitude area and a number of winter sports are organized here.

Day 04: Leh
On the fourth day of your tour, you go for a city tour of Leh and go visiting places like Thiksey where the Matho gompa has a valuable collection of old and beautiful thangas, Shey Gompa that has the largest statue of Maitreya Buddha in Ladakh, and Hemis Gompa that is the biggest gompa in Ladakh built in 1630 to commemorate the birth of the renowned sage Padmasambhava. These Buddhist places of worship are simple, yet their architecture is elaborate.

Day 05: Kargil
Today you leave for Kargil. It stands to be a conflict region and its beauty is par excellence. En route you visit the Alchi Monastery. It has many temples and the main temple is of Rinchen Lhakhang. The burning oil lamps and the prayer techniques practiced here are extremely unique. The paintings in this monastery have an Indian touch. On arrival, you will check in the hotel.

Day 06: Ringdom
On the sixth day of your Trekking in Himalayas Tour you drive southwards to the town of Ringdom. The place is extremely famous for jeep safaris. Ringdom also has the famous Rangdum Gompa, 18th century monastery. It is an impressive towering structure situated on a centrally risen hillock. Overnight you stay in the camp.

Day 07: Padum
In the morning you drive to Padum and enter into the valley at Zanskar which is quite popular for trekking. Padum is Zanskar’s capital and has many tourist attractions like the ancient carvings on rocks on a huge stone near the bank of the river, Starrimo Monastery and Pibiting Village. Overnight stay is at the camp.

Day 08: Mune
Today you trek to Mune. The picturesque scenery and trails are quite famous. You can visit the Mune village via the Bardan Gompa which houses the famous 180 cm tall prayer wheel. Meal and overnight stay is at the Camp.

Day 09: Dortzon
On day nine, you trek up to Dortzon. You can trek to various places in Dorzton. Overnight you stay in the camp.

Day 10: Purne
On day 10 of your Trekking in the Himalayas Tour you start trekking to Purne from where you can walk up the left bank of the Tsarap into the splendid gorges. After arrival you can enjoy the scenic beauty of the place. Overnight stay is at the camp.

Day 11: Purne
Today you go for an excursion to Phuktal. This region has a number of residing Buddhist monks. You can get a view of the spectacular Phuktal Monastery, which is located majestically on a huge cave’s opening. This cave is situated in a lateral gorge’s mountain face and the Lungnak River’s major tributary flows through it. Overnight you stay at the camp.

Day 12: Thable
Today you trek up to Thable while crossing the villages of Teta, Kuru and Tanze. The trek spans for over six hours and overnight you stay in the camp.

Day 13: Gomborajan
You relax in the morning and at 0400 hours you trek towards Gomborajan after crossing a multitude of small streams before climbing a steep region of fallen rocks. Overnight stay is in the camp.

Day 14: Lakong
Today you trek up to Lakong and overnight you stay in the camp.

Day 15: Chuminakpo
On the 15th day of your Himalayan Trekking Tour, you trek up to Chuminakpo. Overnight you stay in the camp.

Day 16: Zanskar Sumdo
On day sixteen, you trek up to Zanskar Sumdo. Overnight you stay in the camp.

Day 17: Palamu
On the seventeenth day you trek to Palamu and spend the night in the camp.

Day 18: Darcha
Today you trek to Darcha and overnight you stay in the camp.

Day 19: Manali
Today after all the trekking in the past few days you drive to Manali. En route you cross the Rohtak Pass in Kullu Valley which is at a height of 4000 meters. On arrival you check in to the hotel

Day 20: Manali
You get the entire day to relax your muscles and freshen up.

Day 21: Manali
After trekking for so many days, today you go for a full day tour of Manali city. You get to see Rohtang Pass, Vasishth Temple and Hot Springs, Solang Valley, Hadimba Temple, Old Manali, Rahala Waterfalls and Monasteries. Rohtang Pass is the highest point of the Manali Keylong Road and offers splendid and breathtaking views of the mountains. Overnight stay is in the hotel.

Day 22: Nalagarh
Today you drive to Nalagarh, a heritage site. Check in to the hotel on arrival and stay there overnight.

Day 23: Delhi
On the morning of the 23rd day of your tour you drive to Delhi. After reaching the city, you check in to a hotel and stay there overnight.

Day 23: Delhi
On the last day of your Trekking in Himalayas Tour, you depart to the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi and board your flights for your onward destination.
